Educational Programs for Pittsburgh’s Women in Business

By the time most people were starting to roll out of bed at 7:30 am this morning, more than 70 women had already converged on the campus of Chatham University to attend the Women Business Leaders Breakfast Series hosted by the University’s Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship.

The event was highlighted by an inspired presentation on health and wellness by Dr. Vonda Wright, orthopaedic surgeon and author of Guide to Thrive: Four Steps to Body, Brains, and Bliss and Fitness After 40: How to Stay Strong at Any Age.

Attendees also had a chance to mix and mingle with others in the entrepreneurial and local business community as well as speak with exhibitors from PNC, UPS, and the Pittsburgh Business Times.

It’s great to know there are resources out there to help support, nurture, and promote Pittsburgh’s women in business.

If you’re interested in learning more about the Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship, be sure to attend an upcoming Open House.
