Client Spotlight: Marty’s Market

Pre-opening celebration at Marty's Market

You could feel the excitement in the air. After months of careful planning, extensive construction, meticulous building inspections, and even more planning, Marty’s Market, a community-minded specialty food market & café, was finally able to open their doors to the public for a ‘Hard Hat’ party and pre-opening celebration at their new Strip District location.

I had a chance to work with the Marty’s Market team a few months back to develop naming options that would reflect the new store concept and resonate with potential consumers. Once we identified a shortlist of options, I helped with story development and imagery that was used to inspire and shape their small business brand.

From brainstorming sessions around the whiteboard and staring at blueprints to attending Friday’s big pre-opening celebration, I have to say it’s been truly amazing watching this MAMMOTH project go from an idea to a reality.

Whether you’re looking for fresh, full-flavor, high quality locally-sourced food, or a place where you can sip on a cool glass of passion fruit rooibos tea, any time you’re within walking, biking, or driving distance of the Strip District in Pittsburgh you should definitely swing by Marty’s Market. I’m certain your taste buds will thank you.
